A Simple Woman's Daybook - December 14th Edition

For Today...

Outside my window... a new layer of fluffy, white, snow with glittery flurries blowing in the breeze!
I
am thankful... for old and new friends. My schedule is filled for the next couple of weeks with time together with friends and family. What joy!
From the kitchen... cold pizza, cookies, and more cookies... Time to plan some actual meals!
I am wearing... my Christmas pjs. Red and green plaid flannel pants and a red henley shirt.
I am creating... hmmm... I think I'm done creating for a few days. I'll get back to you!
I am going... nowhere today! The joys of having a day to work at home!
I am reading... "Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World" by Joanna Weaver. And starting, "A Beautiful Mess" by Rick McKinley.
I am hoping... to get lots done today, so I can begin to relax!
I am hearing... silence. Well, the refrigerator humming...
Some plans for the week... work, book group, dinner with the hubby's co-workers, Open Sanctuary, Christmas caroling, going to "The Christmas Carol" at the Guthrie, having friends over for dinner, and having my family over for dinner! Phew!
One of my favorite things... wrapped presents under the tree. It just looks so pretty! (And I can't wait to give people their gifts!)
A picture thought I am sharing: another favorite ornament - from my friend, Cheryl... I miss you!
Things I am thankful for today:

1. A day at home.
2. The holidays.
3. Cookies are DONE.
4. Leftover pizza.
5. The hubby cleaning the bathrooms.
6. Going for a walk in the snow. (It was COLD!)
7. Our dog being SO interested in wrapping presents!
8. Crawling into sheets straight out of the dryer!
9. Being excited about so many fun things this week!
10. A good night's sleep.
