Things I am thankful for today:
1. A successful breakfast! Biscuits with strawberries, grand marnier and cream. YUM!
2. A long nap...
3. Fun at the library and book store with the hubby - looking for books about Ireland.
4. Went to see "Slumdog Millionaire" - GREAT movie! (First one we've seen in a theater in maybe 6 months...)
5. The smell of chocolate cake in the oven... (Chocolate Almond Berry Torte in the works...)
6. Long talks about our past and future over yummy cocktails. :)
7. Blue skies! (ALL DAY!)
8. The PERFECT tomato soup! (We tried a bunch of new recipes this weekend - can you tell?)
9. Fun and relaxed Valentines weekend.
10. A happy marriage. He's great. :)

I agree with mom - I get so hungry after reading your blog! And I loved your memories of dad's tears (those moments are still fresh in my mind). Don't forget "whistling" after a spanking - I still think that is so funny (now). I love you, Megan.
